The Challenge Facing Veterans

Veteran homelessness and housing instability remain serious challenges across Greater Boston. High housing costs, limited affordable housing, unemployment, health challenges, and the transition from military to civilian life can place veterans at increased risk of housing instability.

The Veterans Housing Pathway Initiative is being developed to help address these challenges through affordable housing, supportive services, strong community partnerships, and connections to resources that promote long-term stability and independence.

A VETERAN-CENTERED APPROACH

Housing Is the Beginning of the Pathway

Our vision goes beyond providing affordable housing. The Veterans Housing Pathway Initiative is being developed to connect veterans with experienced community partners and existing resources that can support housing stability, health and wellness, employment, benefits navigation, and successful transitions to civilian life.

Rather than duplicate services already available through the VA and established veteran-service organizations, Diamond Life seeks to build partnerships that help veterans access the right resources while creating a stable place to call home.
